Lauren Henning, Flicker Film Festival
Meet Lauren,
LAUREN HENNING is an award-winning actor, writer, and producer.
She founded Violent Pink Productions with her wife to amplify queer, female stories. Their most recent film “CHAPTER 13,” which Henning wrote & starred in, premiered at Flicker Fesitval and took home Best Intimacy in Storytelling and Audience Choice Award. The jury included Academy Award-winning producer Jiarui Guo (THE BRUTALIST) and BAFTA-nominated actress Danielle Deadwyler (THE LAST OF US).
Henning’s first film “TEXT ME WHEN YOU GET HOME” (2024) premiered at Shockfest Film Festival, and won several international awards including Best Women’s Empowerment and Best Actress.
Henning co-created & stars in “THE GAME,” an indie TV show which premiered at Comic-Con and has garnered over 70 million views across all social channels. The series is set to film the first six episodes in 2026.
She also co-created the 1/2 hr comedy series “SPACED OUT,” which won First Runner Up at Screencraft’s Virtual Pitch Competition. She wrote & starred in the Proof of Concept starring Malcolm McRae and Derek Theler (BABY DADDY).
Henning has been cast in and is set to produce a feature film from Estevez-Sheen Productions, which will be directed by Golden Globe winner Kevin Pollack.
Lauren also serves on the Los Angeles Local SAG-AFTRA Women’s Committee, the Los Angeles Local Conservatory Committee, and as a Convention Delegate.
